中国书画名家·笃行艺途之师——肖纬

肖纬，1944 年八月生于侨乡中山。1965 年毕业于广州美术学院.65-82 年曾在广西北海文化馆，电影公司及广西彩调团工作。83 年调到深圳特区报当美编及广告部主任,88 年调到深圳市公共艺术公司至 1999 年退休。是广东省美术家协会会员,深圳市美术家协会会员,深圳市女画家联谊会顾问,深圳市侨媛会副会长,深圳市民盟画院顾问。早年有出版年画《妈妈出海去》，作品随中国书画家国际交流中心赴香港,阿联酋,迪拜及意大利等国家及地区巡回展出。作品被国内外朋友收藏，20O8 年在华侨城天鹅堡举办个展,油画《小河饮马》被国务院侨办领导收藏。2016 年市侨文委为谢开基，肖纬夫妇举办夫妇油画联展。2017 年 7 月至 8 月在深圳大中华文化广场举办个展。18一25年每年均有画作参加市民盟及市统战部举办的书画作品展。

侨乡中山的文脉滋养，南国艺苑的深耕不辍，铸就了肖纬女士波澜壮阔的艺术人生。1944年盛夏，女士生于中山，这份侨乡的开阔底蕴，早早便融入其艺术血脉。1965年，她自广州美术学院学成，怀揣对艺术的赤诚，开启了跨地域、多领域的创作征程。从广西北海的文化馆、电影公司到彩调团，十余载基层历练让她的创作扎根生活；1983年奔赴深圳特区，从特区报美编、广告部主任到公共艺术公司的深耕，她的笔触始终与时代同频，见证并参与了特区的文化成长。

作为广东省美术家协会、深圳市美术家协会的一员，肖纬女士兼具创作活力与行业担当，身兼市女画家联谊会顾问、侨媛会副会长等职，以艺术搭桥，联结社群与文脉。她的作品兼具温度与广度，早年年画《妈妈出海去》尽显生活温情，诸多佳作随中国书画家国际交流中心走向香港、阿联酋、迪拜、意大利等国家及地区，让东方美学跨越山海。从2008年华侨城天鹅堡个展上被国务院侨办领导收藏的《小河饮马》，到2016年与先生谢开基的夫妇油画联展，再到2017年深圳大中华文化广场个展，以及2018至2025年间持续参与的民盟、统战部书画展，每一次亮相都是艺术实力的印证，每一件藏品都是业界与大众的认可。

Xiao Wei: A Glorious Artistic Journey Born in August 1944 in Zhongshan, a renowned hometown of overseas Chinese, Xiao Wei graduated from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1965. From 1965 to 1982, she worked at the Beihai Cultural Center, Film Company and Guangxi Caidiao Opera Troupe in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. In 1983, she was transferred to Shenzhen Special Zone Daily, serving as an art editor and director of the Advertising Department. Later in 1988, she moved to Shenzhen Public Art Company, where she stayed until her retirement in 1999.

She is a member of both the Guangdong Artists Association and Shenzhen Artists Association, as well as a consultant to the Shenzhen Women Painters Association and Shenzhen Minmeng Painting Academy, and vice president of the Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Women Association. Her early work, the New Year painting Mother Sails Out to Sea, was published years ago. Many of her artworks have been exhibited in touring shows held by the China International Exchange Center for Calligraphers and Painters in Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates, Dubai, Italy and other countries and regions, and are collected by art lovers at home and abroad. In 2008, she held a solo exhibition at Overseas Chinese Town Swan Castle, and her oil painting Horses Drinking by the Stream was collected by leaders of the State Council Overseas Chinese Affairs Office. In 2016, the Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Cultural Committee co-hosted a joint oil painting exhibition for Xiao Wei and her husband, Xie Kaiji. From July to August 2017, she held another solo exhibition at Shenzhen Great China Cultural Square. Moreover, she has contributed paintings to the calligraphy and painting exhibitions organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of China Democratic League and the United Front Work Department every year from 2018 to 2025.

Nurtured by the cultural heritage of her hometown Zhongshan and tempered by years of dedicated exploration in the art circles of southern China, Xiao Wei has forged a magnificent artistic life. Born in the midsummer of 1944 in Zhongshan, she has long integrated the open and inclusive cultural roots of this overseas Chinese hometown into her artistic veins. Graduating from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1965, she embarked on a cross-regional and multi-field artistic journey with sincere passion for art. Her more than a decade of experience working at grassroots cultural institutions in Beihai, Guangxi, grounded her creations in the richness of real life. Since moving to Shenzhen Special Economic Zone in 1983, she has witnessed and participated in the cultural development of the special zone, with her brushstrokes always resonating with the pulse of the times—whether as an art editor and advertising director at Shenzhen Special Zone Daily, or during her tenure at Shenzhen Public Art Company.

As an active member of the Guangdong and Shenzhen Artists Associations, Xiao Wei embodies both creative vitality and professional responsibility. Holding multiple roles including consultant to the Shenzhen Women Painters Association and vice president of the Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Women Association, she builds bridges between communities and cultural heritage through art. Her works strike a perfect balance between emotional warmth and artistic breadth: her early New Year painting Mother Sails Out to Sea brims with the tender charm of daily life, while many of her masterpieces have carried the essence of Eastern aesthetics across borders via exhibitions organized by the China International Exchange Center for Calligraphers and Painters. From Horses Drinking by the Stream—collected by the leaders of the State Council Overseas Chinese Affairs Office at her 2008 solo exhibition in Overseas Chinese Town Swan Castle—to the joint oil painting exhibition with her husband Xie Kaiji in 2016, her solo exhibition at Shenzhen Great China Cultural Square in 2017, and her continuous contributions to exhibitions hosted by the Shenzhen Minmeng and United Front Work Department from 2018 to 2025, every exhibition showcases her outstanding artistic strength, and every collected piece stands as a testament to her recognition by both the art community and the public.
