张永金——国际影响力与收藏升值潜力艺术家

张永金，1943 年生，江苏张家港人。1985 年经李铎，夏湘平两位恩师介召加入中国书法家协会，现为国家一级书法师，国礼艺术大师，国务外交礼品师，全国书画艺术委员会副主席，国艺委书画艺术博物馆名誉馆长，牛津艺术学院特聘教授，《书法字海》和《书法大字典》编审委员。

早在 2001 年就在中国美术馆举办个展，中国书法家协会刘炳森，申万胜两位副主席出席开幕式並剪彩，中央电视台和中央人民广播电台对展览作了新闻报道。多次参加国内国际大型书展，入选多种书法辞典和国内外大型邮册，刻石多处并见门牌匾额。有《题字书法艺术》《张永金书法艺略》等著作出版；其中《题字书法艺术》被誉为“填补署书理论空白之举”，由国家图书馆收藏。有视频《中国文化人物张永金》《中国艺术大家张永金》和纪录片《宗师列传·张永金》等在线播放。

Zhang Yongjin Born in 1943, Zhang Yongjin is a native of Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province. Recommended by his two mentors Li Duo and Xia Xiangping, he joined the Chinese Calligraphers Association in 1985. He currently holds the titles of National First-Class Calligrapher, State Gift Art Master, State Diplomatic Gift Artist, Vice Chairman of the National Painting and Calligraphy Art Committee, Honorary Curator of the Painting and Calligraphy Art Museum under the National Art Committee, Distinguished Professor of Oxford College of the Arts, as well as a member of the editorial board for Calligraphy Character Sea and Comprehensive Calligraphy Dictionary.

As early as 2001, he held a solo exhibition at the National Art Museum of China. Liu Bingsen and Shen Wansheng, Vice Chairmen of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, attended the opening ceremony and cut the ribbon. China Central Television and China National Radio covered the exhibition in news reports. He has taken part in numerous large-scale domestic and international calligraphy exhibitions, with his works included in a variety of calligraphy dictionaries and stamp albums at home and abroad. His calligraphy has been carved on stone tablets and inscribed on door plaques in many locations. He has published works such as The Art of Inscription Calligraphy and A Brief Introduction to Zhang Yongjin’s Calligraphy Art. Among them, The Art of Inscription Calligraphy is praised for filling the theoretical gap in official inscription calligraphy and has been collected by the National Library of China. He is dedicated to public welfare undertakings. He has organized multiple charity calligraphy salons for disaster relief, donating all proceeds from artwork auctions to disaster-stricken areas. He initiated a program where painting and calligraphy research institutes teamed up with kind-hearted donors to build General Hope Primary Schools in old revolutionary base areas, an initiative that has won widespread public attention and acclaim.

Zhang Yongjin enjoys a high reputation in the art circle. His influence is embodied not only in his outstanding artworks but also in his numerous honors and awards. He has been granted the Special Government Allowance Certificate issued by the State Council, the honorary title of People's Artist and Lifetime Honorary Title of Patriotic Chinese Artist awarded by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

His accolades also include Top 100 Chinese Painters and Calligraphers, Top Ten Public Welfare Artists of Harmonious China, Virtuous and Skilled Master of Painting and Calligraphy, Top 100 Famous Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Artists, Great Calligraphy Master of the People's Republic of China, Chinese Diplomatic Art Ambassador, and Red Robe Artist.

He has received the National Cultural and Art Award, National Literary & Art Master Monument Award, Lifetime Achievement Award for Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, Achievement Award for Artists of the Republic, Gold Award for Global Chinese Arts, Da Vinci International Lifetime Achievement Award in Arts, Gold Prize of Monet International Art Award, the French Order of Arts and Letters (Chevalier), and the UNESCO Cultural and Art Medal, among many others.
