王旭东—— 最具国际影响力与收藏升值潜力艺术家

王旭东,字晓阳。原籍山东夏津县,1952 年 2 月出生于河北省邯郸市。大专文化,1969 年下乡插队,1977 年专业从事文化宣传工作。现为邯郸市工人文化宫正高职研究馆员，邯郸市社科联第三届委员会委员，中国书法家协会会员:中国硬笔书法协会理事兼行书委员会副主任;中国文联书画艺术交流中心理事;中国教育学会书法教育研究会会员;中国书画名家研究院副院长;河北省书协1至4届理事、5届主席团委员;河北省诗词协会会员;河北省硬笔书协副主席、邯郸市书法家协会名誉主席;市硬笔书法家协会主席;赵都书画艺术研究院院长、山东省书画研究院教授。自1982年担任文化宫宣传科长,1983年受邯郸市文联委托,文化宫委派负责筹建市书法家协会,担任协会秘书长、副主席兼秘书长共4届27年。50余次策划组织本市及跨省市大型书画活动,举办各类书画班近百期,搭建各种职工文化活动平台,为本市培养、扶植出一大批书画艺术人才。作品及传记入编《99,中国百杰书画家精品集》、《联合国华人艺术精选集》、《人民艺术家》、《中国馆藏级艺术家》等40余部典集。2004 年在邯郸市博物馆隆重举办个人书法展。1985年荣获河北省优秀书法创作奖;1990一2000年荣获河北省邯郸市文艺振兴奖;2001一2002年分别荣获河北省民政厅授予“省社团先进工作者”,省委宣传部授予“文化科技三下乡先进个人”,省文化厅授予“燕赵群星奖金奖”,荣获国家知识产权局“百位著名书画家知识产权文化大使”提名。

Wang Xudong, courtesy name Xiaoyang. His ancestral home is Xiajin County, Shandong Province. He was born in Handan City, Hebei Province in February 1952. He received a college education. In 1969, he went to the countryside as a sent-down youth. In 1977, he began to engage in cultural publicity work professionally.

He is currently a senior research librarian at Handan Workers' Cultural Palace and a member of the 3rd Committee of Handan Federation of Social Sciences.

He was appointed Publicity Section Chief of the Workers' Cultural Palace in 1982. Entrusted by Handan Federation of Literary and Art Circles and assigned by the Cultural Palace in 1983, he took charge of preparing for the founding of Handan Calligraphers Association. He served consecutively as Secretary-General, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General for four terms spanning 27 years.

He has planned and organized more than 50 large-scale painting and calligraphy events within and beyond the province, run nearly 100 painting and calligraphy training courses, built multiple platforms for staff cultural activities, and cultivated a large number of outstanding painting and calligraphy talents for the city.

His artworks and biographies have been compiled into more than 40 authoritative collections, including A Fine Collection of Top 100 Chinese Painters and Calligraphers of 1999, Selected Works of Overseas Chinese Artists Published by the United Nations, People's Artists, and National Collectible Artists.

He held a solo calligraphy exhibition at Handan Museum in 2004.

March 2011: He was invited to the painting and calligraphy gathering organized by the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council, and his works were collected permanently.

March-July 2013: He initiated the establishment of Handan Hard-Pen Calligraphers Association and was awarded the title of Advanced Individual by the China Hard-Pen Calligraphers Association in the same year.

2014: Influential Figure in Hebei Hard-Pen Calligraphy Circle awarded by Hebei Hard-Pen Calligraphers Association.
