半生戎马润丹青 一纸烟云藏山河 —— 当代实力派书法家白小乐的翰墨人生

白小乐，男，北京市人。1941年出生，1961年高中毕业，被保送军校学习雷达，1965年由高教部派往法国巴黎留学。曾任中国社科院机关党委副书记、院刋主骗，欧美同学会总会理事、畄法分会副祕书长。现任联合国教科文组织名誉主席、《世界华人艺术金奖》获得者、国务院国礼艺术大师，中国国宾礼艺术家。

应邀参与全国书法比赛和公益活动，荣获金、银奖数十次。2007年“迎北京奥运全国书画大赛”荣获金奖；中国书法年刋评为“2008年度书法艺术金奖”，2012年被全国中老年书法展评为金奖并授予“当代德艺双馨艺术家”称号。2014年春中国邮政出版社出版《一带一路·新丝绸之路上的艺术大使——白小乐个人艺术展》。

2014年美国集邮集团出版《美国国家名片——中美杰出华人艺术家白小乐美国邮册限量珍藏版》；2017年法国出版《杰出华人艺术家白小乐纪念珍藏册》；2024年法国出版白小乐书法集《法国邮票上的中国艺术》；同年，法国达芬奇艺术博物馆和意大利佛罗伦萨市政厅联合授予白小乐【达芬奇国际艺术终身成就奖】；2024年国际艺术联盟首届双年展组委会授予白小乐“世界和平艺术贡献奖”；中国文旅部华人艺评委、联合国艺术中心授予白小乐《世界华人艺术金奖》。2025年联合国成立80周年授予白小乐终身成就奖。

Bai Xiaole, male, a native of Beijing. Born in 1941, he was recommended for admission to a military academy to study radar after graduating from high school in 1961. In 1965, he was sent by the Ministry of Higher Education to pursue further studies in Paris, France.

He once served as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Editor?in?Chief of the academy journal, Director of the General Council of the Western Returned Scholars Association, and Deputy Secretary?General of its France Chapter.

He is currently the Honorary Chairman of UNESCO, winner of the World Chinese Art Gold Award, State?Gift Master Artist of the State Council, and Chinese State Guest Ritual Artist.

Invited to take part in national calligraphy competitions and public?welfare events, he has won dozens of gold and silver awards. He claimed the Gold Prize at the 2007 National Calligraphy and Painting Competition for the Beijing Olympic Games. He was granted the 2008 Annual Calligraphy Art Gold Award by the Chinese Calligraphy Yearbook. In 2012, he won the Gold Prize at the National Senior Calligraphy Exhibition and was awarded the title of Contemporary Artist with Virtue and Artistic Excellence.

In the spring of 2014, China Post Press published The Belt and Road · Art Ambassador on the New Silk Road — Bai Xiaole Solo Art Exhibition.

In 2014, US Philatelic Group issued the limited?edition collection American National Business Card — Bai Xiaole, Outstanding Chinese?American Artist. In 2017, France published the commemorative album Outstanding Chinese Artist Bai Xiaole. In 2024, a calligraphy collection Chinese Art on French Stamps of Bai Xiaole’s works was released in France.

The same year, the Da Vinci Art Museum of France and the Florence Municipal Government of Italy jointly conferred upon Bai Xiaole the Da Vinci International Art Lifetime Achievement Award. The Organizing Committee of the First Biennale of the International Art Alliance awarded him the World Peace Art Contribution Award. The Chinese Overseas Art Review Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China and the United Nations Art Center presented him with the World Chinese Art Gold Award.

In 2025, on the 80th Anniversary of the founding of the United Nations, Bai Xiaole was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
