何坚，斋号点文堂，1952年出生于广东省东莞市石龙镇，祖籍万江大汾乡。自幼喜爱书画。居石龙时期，诗、文、印学课业受教于启蒙老师钟藻彬先生，后又师从何为老师学习书画技艺。1982年何坚加入东莞市书法家协会，承蒙罗阳先生提携与指导，视野得以极大开阔。1993年加入广东省书法家协会。其作品曾多次参展，并获得观者的-致好评。
何坚性内向、寡言辞、少外交、处低调。但如先辈所说:“画到梅花不让人”。在艺术观念上却激情亢奋。耽狂草守节律，书风显活跳势态;画构严谨，色调鲜明。他融古汇今，工意两极都追向旨趣。正好调合了行为与思赋两者的动静中和，阴阳互补。

He Jian Art Studio: Dianwen Hall Born in Shilong Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province in 1952, He Jian traces his ancestral home to Dafen Township of Wanjiang District. He developed a passion for painting and calligraphy from childhood. During his years in Shilong, he received foundational training in poetry, prose and seal?carving from his first mentor Zhong Zaobin, and later studied calligraphy and painting under the tutelage of He Wei.
He joined the Dongguan Calligraphers Association in 1982. Benefiting from the guidance and support of Mr. Luo Yang, his artistic vision was greatly broadened. In 1993, he became a member of the Guangdong Calligraphers Association. His works have been exhibited on numerous occasions and won wide acclaim from audiences.
Reserved and quiet by nature, He Jian keeps a low?profile lifestyle with limited social engagement. Yet as an old artistic saying goes, “When painting plum blossoms, one yields to no one.” He holds passionate and vigorous ideas in artistic creation. His cursive script maintains rhythmic discipline while bursting with lively momentum. His paintings feature rigorous composition and bright, distinct hues. Drawing essence from ancient traditions and absorbing modern inspirations, he pursues artistic charm in both meticulous and freehand styles. This achieves a perfect balance between tranquility in temperament and dynamism in creative thinking, embodying the harmony of yin and yang.
His calligraphy boasts fluid brushwork and well?balanced spacing between strokes and frames, presenting an integrated artistic temperament that is forceful yet gentle, uncluttered and time?honored.
